How do I test my typing speed?
Open the Typing Test, choose 1, 3 or 5 minutes and type the passage. You instantly see your typing speed in words per minute (WPM) and your accuracy.
How can I improve my typing speed?
Practice the lessons daily and focus on accuracy first. Keep your fingers on the home row and follow the highlighted key instead of looking down.
Are students ranked on a leaderboard?
Yes. Signed-in students appear on a leaderboard ranked by their best typing speed and points, so you can see how you compare with others.
Is there a typing exam?
Yes. After finishing the lessons, students can take a timed typing exam. Passing requires a minimum speed and accuracy, and the result is saved to the leaderboard.
How do I type Bengali or Hindi with an English keyboard?
Open the Translator, pick your language and type how the word sounds in English — for example "bhalo" becomes ভালো and "namaste" becomes नमस्ते. Then copy the text to WhatsApp, MS Word or any app. It works like Bengali typing software, but free and online.
Can I copy the typed text into MS Word or WhatsApp?
Yes. Use the Copy or Download button in the Translator to paste your text into MS Word, WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail and any program that supports Unicode.
